Los Angeles County Governance Reform

Measure G is a Los Angeles County ballot initiative passed by voters in November 2024 to overhaul the county’s government structure. The changes will be implemented in stages through 2032 and are intended to increase accountability, transparency, and representation. I was proud to serve as an official supporter of Measure G and now I’m rolling my sleeves up as a member of the LA Governance Reform Taskforce (GRTF) which will develop recommendations for implementation. To kick off our process, I wrote this op-ed in the Los Angeles Times.

This page is dedicated to providing key resources that are being compiled to help guide our process. Have a resource you’d like to share? Email it to me at ssadhwani@measureg.lacounty.gov
